Haaa yes! As the title says we are indeed having a baby!
We both love children and spoke about having children in the future.
Three years into our relationship we had the BIG talk. This was a way of knowing whether we are both on the same page and what we plan for our future.
I would ENORMOUSLY advice anyone in a relationship to have this talk at some stage. Talk about each other’s aspirations, whether or not you share the same views on important things like life goals and values, sharing a home, starting a family, religion, abortion, finance etc…
We spoke about our plans for the future and what we can both bring to the table.
We both knew we wanted to have children and actually planned on trying round November 2014. Lord behold early July 2014 I found out I was pregnant! Oh yeah!
It was a huge surprise because we weren’t expecting it to happen so fast.
I remember it like it was yesterday, I remember feeling extremely tired all the time but I thought it was because of my job. Then a few days later my breast became extremely sore that I couldn't bear touching them. Plus, I was getting very uncomfortable cramps; stupidly thinking my period was on its way, but that wasn’t it. My womb was preparing its self for pregnancy.
After a week of the same symptoms, I asked my partner to buy me a pregnancy test and once I showed him the result he was so happy he cried. He’s made it no secret that he wants to be a father, so hearing this made him cry with happiness. It was the first time I’d seen him cry. For me, I’ve always wanted to be a mother but now it was going to happen I was overwhelmed with so any emotions.

Oh yeah!r family and very close friends the good news. Some were ecstatic and of because others were worried. But at the end of the day, it was our choice and it’s something we were planning.
